Incident Location: Park Avenue N22
Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in Park Avenue N22 at about 3.10pm in the afternoon of Tuesday 28 February.
It is believed that the victim, a 77 year-old man, was in the rear garden of a residential address in Park Avenue when a man entered the garden through the side gate and attacked him with a blunt object before walking off.
The victim was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a critical conditional.
Haringey CID investigate, enquiries continue.

DS Garcia said: “This appears to be an unprovoked assault on an elderly man. We are appealing for anyone with any information in relation to this incident to contact us.”
A 30 year-old man arrested on suspicion of GBH has been taken to a north London police station
